Arsenal are said to be interested in signing Vinicius Junior, but the new Real Madrid manager doesn’t plan to let that happen.

The Portuguese coach has started his job at Real Madrid, working hard with the team during pre-season and bringing in new players. His main goal this season is clear: stop Barcelona from winning their third La Liga title in a row by winning the league with Real Madrid for the 37th time, and also do well in the Champions League.

To do that, he needs the best team possible, and right now, that includes Brazilian star Vinicius Junior. According to the Telegraph, Mourinho has told the club’s leaders that he wants to keep all his key players and doesn’t want any of them sold. He’s especially keen on keeping Vinicius, Kylian Mbappé, and Jude Bellingham.

This probably means Arsenal won’t be able to make a move for Vinicius, since Real Madrid and Mourinho don’t want to sell him.

Still, Arsenal’s interest shows that the club is listening to manager Mikel Arteta’s call for a strong summer to boost the team. They want to keep their Premier League title and do better in the Champions League after losing last season’s final to PSG. So far, Arsenal have signed Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge for £34 million and picked up goalkeeper Illan Meslier on a free transfer after his Leeds contract ended.

They’ve also shown interest in Bruno Guimaraes, but haven’t agreed with Newcastle on a price yet. Newcastle wants £100 million for the midfielder, but Arsenal don’t seem ready to pay that much.

Meanwhile, it’s been a busy summer for Real Madrid. Mourinho has been working hard to build a strong squad for the season and bring in new players. They made some big signings, including Marc Cucurella, Ibrahima Konate, Bernardo Silva, and Denzel Dumfries.

At the same time, a few longtime Real Madrid players have left. Dani Carvajal and David Alaba moved on, Dani Ceballos ended his contract by mutual agreement, and Fran García joined Real Betis.
