Liverpool picks their ideal winger to team up with Bradley Barcola in a double transfer deal.

Liverpool are reportedly aiming to sign a star Premier League winger worth around £130 million, as well as Paris Saint-Germain’s exciting young player Bradley Barcola.

New Liverpool boss Andoni Iraola is eager to make his mark ahead of his first season with the Reds. He’s already welcomed Jeremy Jacquet and Víctor Muñoz to the club this summer.

With big names like Mohamed Salah, Ibrahima Konaté, and Andrew Robertson leaving, Liverpool needs fresh talent to fill those gaps.

It seems talks to bring French international Barcola to Anfield are moving forward. The player is said to have agreed in principle to join Liverpool, but the two clubs haven’t settled on a transfer fee yet. PSG is reportedly asking for about £146 million, which would smash Liverpool’s record transfer fee of £125 million for Alexander Isak in 2025.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano gave an update on his YouTube channel on July 28. He said, “Liverpool want Barcola and he’s their top priority. Barcola also wants to join Liverpool and loves their project. So, agreeing on personal terms won’t be an issue. The only hold-up is the transfer fee, but talks should start soon. I don’t see any problems ahead.”

Romano also noted, “PSG will be tough on the price because Barcola is a fantastic young player and many top clubs want wingers. Liverpool will have to decide how much they can offer. But on Barcola’s side, there are no issues at all.”

Barcola may not be the only new winger coming to Liverpool this summer. The club is also interested in Brazil’s Rayan, who plays for Bournemouth and is considered a “dream” target.

Rayan joined Bournemouth from Vasco da Gama earlier this year. His contract includes a release clause around £85 million, but it won’t become active until 2027. This means Liverpool might be able to sign him for less, though Bournemouth might not want to sell right now.

Reports say Liverpool have already reached out about the 19-year-old, and Iraola is keen to reunite with him. Rayan is also on the radar of big clubs like Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and PSG. Some outlets suggest his release clause could be closer to £130 million.

Other possible targets for Liverpool include Said El Mala from Köln and Matias Fernandez-Pardo from Lille. The transfer window closes on September 1, so there’s still time for Liverpool to make some big moves!
