Sporting director Berta reportedly told the team that the club is very confident about signing what could be the most expensive player in Premier League history.
The players seem to think the deal is pretty likely, especially since many have experienced “the Arteta moment” — when the manager and club set a big target for the team. Vinicius had important talks with Real Madrid management on Wednesday after training that morning.
Spanish journalist Jose Felix Diaz says a decision from Vinicius and his team is ‘imminent,’ with Real pushing for an answer on their contract offer. There are said to be three options: stay at Real, join Arsenal, or leave for free next summer if he doesn’t renew. Vinicius now has to decide before Real’s deadline.
