Arsenal set to swoop in on £140m deal after Vini Jr transfer setback
Arsenal might make a surprising move to sign a top player from another Premier League team if they miss out on Vinicius Junior.

Once that’s done, Arsenal will likely focus on signing Guimaraes’ Brazilian teammate, Vinicius Junior. Vinicius has been linked with a move away from Real Madrid this summer. His current contract ends next year, but talks to renew it have hit some roadblocks because of his high demands.
With the transfer window closing on September 1, the coming days are very important for Vinicius’ future. Real Madrid may sell him if they can’t reach a deal soon. If he does leave, Arsenal is seen as his most likely next club. But Real Madrid are trying hard to keep him.
According to David Ornstein, Real recently made a better contract offer after talks with Vinicius’ representatives and key club officials. They’ve raised their offer to show how valuable he is to the team and their plans.
It’s still unclear if Vinicius will accept Real’s new offer or keep thinking about moving elsewhere. If he chooses not to come to Arsenal, the club may switch focus to another player—Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola. TalkSPORT reports Arsenal are interested after Barcola turned down several PSG contract offers.
However, it looks more likely that Barcola will join Liverpool if he leaves PSG this summer, with talks already happening between the clubs. Even if Arsenal tries to swoop in, they might need to meet PSG’s high asking price of around £140 million to seal the deal.
