Netflix edited out a popular part of the WWE Raw broadcast in their version.
The latest episode of WWE Raw on Netflix has been edited to remove a popular part of a promo featuring Becky Lynch and Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan.
Lynch came back to WWE after a two-month break to call out Morgan and her group, Judgment Day, which includes Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. After the trio left the ring, Lynch said Morgan wasn’t even the best women’s champion in her own group, pointing to Rodriguez, who holds the Intercontinental Championship.
Then Lynch shouted, “You’re not even the greatest women’s champion to sleep with Dominik Mysterio!” On-screen, Mysterio and Morgan are a couple, and Lynch was teasing his past relationship with Morgan’s rival, Rhea Ripley.
This line quickly went viral, getting over 940,000 views on WWE’s Twitter (now X). But in Netflix’s UK version of Raw, this part is cut out, and it jumps straight to Morgan standing at the entrance ramp as former champ Stephanie Vaquer returns.
The full clip is still available on WWE’s social media channels. This isn’t the first time Netflix has edited parts of Raw. They usually cut out any strong language or scenes with blood. For example, in the same episode’s main event between Jacob Fatu and Royce Keys, Netflix blurred Keys’ bloodied face during a replay.
Netflix notes below every WWE replay that the show has been “edited from a previous livestream.” It’s not clear if these changes come from WWE’s parent company TKO or if Netflix made the decision on its own.
Before WWE’s shows move to Netflix in January 2025, WWE president Nick Khan and chief content officer Triple H promised the programming would be “family-friendly,” but didn’t say exactly how much editing that would involve.
“We’re not changing the rating of our programming,” Khan said. “Some people think it might be R-rated, but that’s not true. It will stay family-friendly, good for all ages, and advertiser-friendly.”
