Former Arsenal player shares what a source told him about Bradley Barcola’s move to Liverpool

Former Arsenal player Perry Groves has shared some interesting news about Bradley Barcola’s transfer plans. The 23-year-old PSG winger, who’s catching the eye of both Arsenal and Liverpool, apparently has a preference for where he wants to go.

Barcola is one of France’s top young stars and played in this summer’s World Cup. He joined PSG from Lyon last year and has already won the Champions League and Ligue 1 twice. Over the last two seasons, he’s scored 32 goals and made 20 assists, playing a big part in PSG’s European success, especially when the manager, Luis Enrique, rested some key players during league games.

Both Liverpool and Arsenal are interested because PSG might be open to selling him, although they want a huge €150 million fee. Liverpool, who recently signed Victor Munoz but lost Mohamed Salah, see Barcola as a key addition to their attack. Arsenal turned to Barcola after missing out on Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid and have also been looking at other players like Julian Alvarez and Iliman Ndiaye.

Perry Groves, talking on talkSPORT, said he heard from a source that Barcola wants to live in London. Groves thinks Arsenal might be the best choice for Barcola right now, especially since Arsenal are pushing hard to sign top players after missing out on Vinicius Junior. Liverpool are still in a big transition under manager Andoni Iraola, which might affect Barcola’s decision.

However, things aren’t so clear-cut. According to football expert Fabrizio Romano, Barcola has already agreed on personal terms with Liverpool, and the two clubs are negotiating the final transfer fee. Liverpool haven’t made an official offer yet and need to improve their bid to meet PSG’s high price.

In the meantime, PSG is working on signing other forwards like Ferran Torres, Magnus Akliouche, and Mika Godts, which might make it easier for Barcola to move to Liverpool soon. So, the transfer race is still on, and we’ll have to wait and see where Barcola ends up!
