Dana White gives a strong reply after Eddie Hearn said he might sue him over breaking a contract.

Eddie Hearn and Dana White aren’t on good terms right now. The Matchroom Boxing promoter even threatened to sue the UFC president because of some recent comments he made.

This all ties back to the big buzz around a possible fight between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. Fans are excited about this heavyweight showdown, which could be one of the greatest of our time. The fight is planned for November, but there’s a snag: they can’t agree on where to hold it.

Eddie Hearn wants the fight to happen in the UK. He says the original contract said the bout should be on home ground. He’s even warned there won’t be a fight if the location changes. But Turki Alalshikh and his Saudi backers are pushing for a different spot. Right now, New York’s Madison Square Garden seems like the leading choice. Netflix even teased this possibility by dropping a trailer related to the fight during WWE Raw, a show owned by TKO, Dana White’s parent company.

Dana White, who’s not directly involved in the deal, has said the fight should be “where the money is,” hinting it might be outside the UK. This upset Hearn because Joshua’s contract reportedly says that White’s company, TKO, shouldn’t be involved in any negotiations.

Talking to All About Boxing, Hearn openly expressed his frustration and even said he might sue White. He said, “They want to change the contract we signed, and we don’t like that. Right now, there’s no agreement to change anything.” Hearn added, “I should be suing Dana White because he’s acting like he has the right to arrange the fight in the U.S., but he doesn’t.”

White, known for having quick responses, chose to stay quiet this time, probably to avoid any legal trouble. At a press conference, he said, “I’m not going to play these games with these guys.” When asked about Hearn’s lawsuit threat, White replied, “I stopped listening to Eddie Hearn a few months ago. Is there anyone more full of it than this guy? Come on.”

This clash between two big figures in combat sports is the last thing Fury and Joshua want while trying to sort out the fight’s date and place.

Still, Fury gave fans hope by posting on Instagram: “Big news coming very soon. All is good. Big fight ahead, the one you’ve all been waiting for. Announcement soon, so stay tuned.”

So, the fight might be getting closer to happening than we think!
