Jarrod Bowen’s leaked EA FC 27 rating is the best ever in EFL history!
West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen is set to get the highest rating ever for an EFL player in EA FC 27, according to the latest leaks. Bowen has chosen to stay with West Ham despite their drop from the Premier League and signed a new contract at the London Stadium.
He helped set up a goal for Max Kilman in West Ham’s 2-2 draw with Burnley on the opening day of the Championship season. Bowen is the clear favourite to win the Championship Player of the Season award for 2026/27. West Ham are also tipped to win the title and bounce straight back to the Premier League under their manager, Nuno Espirito Santo.
The 29-year-old forward has scored 38 goals and made 25 assists over the last three Premier League seasons. Because of this, he’s one of the few West Ham players who didn’t get a rating drop in EA FC 27. He keeps his overall rating of 83, which is the highest a Football League player has ever had in the game since Ultimate Team started in 2009.
Bowen’s speed rating went down slightly from 76 to 75, but his passing went up from 78 to 79, and his physicality improved from 70 to 71. To compare, in EA FC 26, the highest-rated EFL player at launch was Sheffield United’s Gustavo Hamer at 77 overall. Before Bowen, the top score was 79, held by former Leicester players Ricardo Pereira and Wilfried Ndidi in EA FC 24.
The first set of EA FC 27 ratings came out on Monday, with EA highlighting the top 27 men’s and women’s players. Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland, and Alexia Putellas all share the highest rating at 91. Aitana Bonmati’s rating dropped from 91 to 90 after missing most of last season due to a broken leg.
Mohamed Salah, now with Trabzonspor, also dropped from 91 to 87. On the other hand, Lionel Messi’s rating rose by three points to 89 after leading Argentina to the World Cup final.
Ratings have been released in stages this week. The Premier League, WSL, Bundesliga, and Frauen-Bundesliga ratings came out on Tuesday, followed by La Liga and Liga F on Wednesday. Wednesday also included the Saudi Pro League, where Cristiano Ronaldo’s rating dropped to 84, his lowest ever in Ultimate Team, with a pace of 67.
