Sounds great, right? But there’s a catch: if you do this, you can’t make any more transfers for the rest of the season while you have too many players from one team. So, if you grabbed Fernandez or Ndiaye early, you’ll need to use your transfers to get back down to three Man City players before you can make any other changes.
The same goes for managers who got Ezri Konsa before his move from Aston Villa to Arsenal. Konsa is a great pick at just £4.4m to join the Premier League’s best defense. But if you brought him in early and already own Arsenal players, you’ll have to follow the same rules.
Once managers get their teams back to the limit of three players per club, they’ll be excited to use their transfers again. Looking ahead to Gameweek 4, many will be eyeing Chelsea, who are doing really well under coach Xabi Alonso. Chelsea face Hull City, a newly promoted side, making players like Joao Pedro (FWD, £7.7m) and Cole Palmer (MID, £9.6m) popular picks. Both have started the season strong — Pedro has two goals, two assists, and four bonus points so far, while Palmer matches that with two goals, an assist, and three bonus points.
Another player who might be in high demand is Liverpool striker Alexander Isak. After scoring twice against Ipswich Town in Gameweek 3, he has a home game against Fulham, and many managers will want him on their teams.
