They’ve also already won a trophy this season, beating Man City to lift the Community Shield at Wembley Stadium.
That means they’ve won seven games in a row this season so far and could make it eight with a win over Brighton.
If they do, they’ll match a record from 1903 when they won their first eight games across all competitions.
Arsenal and their fans are feeling good about making history since they beat Brighton away last season. But they know the Seagulls have also started strong this year, so it won’t be an easy match.
No Arsenal fan alive has seen the club reach this record before, and even the oldest living person, 117-year-old Ethel Caterham, wasn’t born back then.
Back in 1903, the club was called Woolwich Arsenal and played at Manor Ground in South East London.
That season, they won their first eight games in the Second Division, which helped them finish second, just missing out on the title by one point to Preston North End.
Arsenal won 21 of their 34 games, drew seven, and collected 49 points that year—a very strong season overall.
