England player ratings vs Croatia: A rare 10/10 given after an amazing 7-0 win

England showed their best performance of the international break so far on Saturday, easily beating their tough rivals Croatia 7-0 at the Stadion HNK Rijeka. Thomas Tuchel’s team followed up their midweek win against the Czech Republic with an even stronger display in front of 100 traveling fans.
Harry Kane got things started just eight minutes in, thanks to some great work by Jude Bellingham. Bellingham then scored the second goal after Anthony Gordon made some excellent plays on the wing. Gordon himself scored the third, making it three goals in his last three Nations League games.
The first half was nearly perfect for the Three Lions. Just before halftime, Bukayo Saka scored after Bellingham set him up with a nice pass from the left. Croatia struggled even more in the second half. Kane scored his 11th goal in 12 international games when Elliot Anderson crossed the ball, and Saka added a second goal with 22 minutes to go. To finish off the scoring, substitute Morgan Rogers made it 7-0 late in the game.
Here’s how the players were rated in this dominant win over Slaven Bilic’s side:
Jordan Pickford – 6/10
One of his easiest games for England. Not much to do.
Jarell Quansah – 7/10
A solid showing, including a great assist for Gordon’s first-half goal. He stepped in well for Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Ezri Konsa – 7/10
With little pressure from Croatia, it was an easy day for Konsa and Guehi. They stayed focused and played well.
Marc Guehi – 7/10
Quiet game but steady and tidy with the ball, bouncing back after some tough matches.
Lewis Hall – 7.5/10
This break showed he should be England’s starting left-back for years ahead.
Elliot Anderson – 8.5/10
Worked really well with Scott in midfield. Efficient, careful, and set up Kane’s goal. A top-class performance.
Alex Scott – 8/10
Controlled the game well and helped start Kane’s opening goal. Comfortable and confident on the ball.
Bukayo Saka – 8.5/10
Struggled a bit recently, but two goals here will boost his confidence. Took his chances well.
Jude Bellingham – 10/10
Assisted Kane, scored himself, and helped set up two other goals. The key player for England.
Anthony Gordon – 9.5/10
England’s biggest threat on the left side. Assisted one goal and scored a rare header—after joking that he’s “the worst header you’ll see.” This guy can do it all.
Harry Kane – 9/10
Scored two goals and assisted another. Scored in six away games in a row, a first since 1948. Another great performance from England’s all-time top scorer.
Substitutes:
Eberechi Eze – 6/10
Came on for Kane but didn’t get much involved.
James Garner – 6/10
Played left-back after replacing Scott. Like the defense, he didn’t have much to do.
Morgan Rogers – 7.5/10
Scored a goal three minutes before the end, finishing well after beating the keeper.
Morgan Gibbs-White – N/A
Myles Lewis Skelly – N/A
