Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua tickets: How to get them, prices, and sale dates
Tickets for the Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua fight are about to go on sale soon, so how can you grab a spot at the biggest British boxing event ever?
After years of back-and-forth and outside-the-ring drama, Fury and Joshua will finally face off this year to decide who’s the greatest British heavyweight of this time.
More than 80,000 fans will pack Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on December 19, with tickets going live at 12pm BST on Friday, October 9.
If you’re in the US, that means tickets go on sale at 7am Eastern, 6am Central, or 4am Pacific time.
Since there’s no pre-sale, all tickets for fans will be released at once. You can buy them through Ticketmaster, with up to eight tickets per person.
To have the best chance, it’s a good idea to sign up for a Ticketmaster account and be logged in when tickets drop. Adding your payment info beforehand can help speed things up too.
Ticket prices haven’t been fully confirmed yet, but they start around £75. VIP tickets will be much pricier—likely over £1,000 for the best seats. Prices seen on HelloTickets range from £258 to as high as £3,633. You can also register for VIP packages on Seat Unique. Ringside seats will probably cost thousands as well.
The fight will take place at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales—the home stadium for Wales’ rugby teams and occasional football games. The stadium opened in 1999 as the Millennium Stadium and usually holds about 73,931 fans, but for this fight it will hold closer to 80,000.
Joshua has fought there before, winning against Carlos Takam in 2017 and Joseph Parker in 2018.
Because so many people want tickets, you might have to pay more through resale if you miss out. Resale tickets usually pop up quickly after the main sale, but prices will be higher. Always buy resale tickets from trusted sites to avoid scams and get money-back guarantees.
If you can’t make it in person, don’t worry! The whole Fury vs. Joshua fight night will be shown live worldwide on Netflix.
The exact timings haven’t been announced yet, but the main event’s ring walks are expected to happen in the early hours of Sunday, December 20.
