Kim Kardashian said to feel ‘awkward’ and ‘uncomfortable’ during chat with Martin Brundle

A body language expert shared their thoughts on Kim Kardashian’s interview with Martin Brundle before the Singapore Grand Prix, saying she seemed a bit “embarrassed” and “uneasy” during their chat.

Earlier this year, Brundle, a former Formula 1 driver and now a Sky Sports presenter, tried to interview Kim during his grid walk at the Monaco Grand Prix, but she didn’t respond to him. However, at the Marina Bay Circuit last weekend, Brundle was able to talk to her after finding out she was happy to speak with him this time. Kim even apologized, saying, “Did we get off on the wrong foot?” Brundle replied warmly, “No, it’s absolutely fine. Lovely to see you again at a Grand Prix. What do you think of our crazy world of F1?” She answered, “I think it’s amazing and fun and crazy and wild, and something I’ve never seen before.”

Kim’s partner, Lewis Hamilton, had a tough race in his Ferrari — he qualified third but ended up finishing sixth after a tire strategy didn’t work out.

Darren Stanton, a body language expert, looked closely at Kim’s second appearance on the grid walk with Brundle. He thinks she had to “eat humble pie” this time after ignoring him earlier in the year. Stanton explained to OLBG, “It’s classic Kim Kardashian eating humble pie. Last time she pretty much ignored Martin like he was nobody. I suspect she’s been given a tightener — meaning she got some clear advice from her team about not brushing off Martin like that.”

Stanton, known as the “Human Lie Detector,” noticed that during the interview in Singapore, Kim seemed a little embarrassed and uncomfortable at first. He pointed out, “She was on the back foot and touched his elbow, which shows embarrassment. She said, ‘Oh, I didn’t know the rules, did we get off on the wrong foot?’ He took it well and didn’t make a big deal. But she did look embarrassed because she thought everyone was focused on her, even though she was trying to keep it low-key. So, she was embarrassed and a bit uneasy.”

When Brundle asked Kim about Lewis’s confidence on the track, she said he was “very confident” and that she was hoping for the best in the night race. But Stanton noticed her confidence dropped when he talked about that. He said she started pacing, looked away, and played with her hair — a sign of anxiety. “She turned her head away and wasn’t very confident talking about anything other than herself. Talking about Lewis made her nervous because she probably doesn’t know much about F1. When she got stressed, she started playing with her hair, which we call ‘hair twizzling.’ It was a short but interesting moment.”

Overall, it seems Kim is still learning how to handle these interviews, especially when it’s about F1.
