Big news about Tyson Fury’s injury as worries grow over Anthony Joshua fight being canceled

Dana White has shared a big update about the rumors that Tyson Fury might have to pull out of the Anthony Joshua fight because of an injury.

The huge fight, now just a bit over a month away, will finally settle the rivalry between the heavyweight stars Fury and Joshua on December 11 in Cardiff.

Recently, some surprising reports said Fury might be dealing with a mystery injury that could stop him from fighting. Dana White, who runs UFC and is involved with Fury’s promotion, has now spoken about these rumors.

The injury news first came up when former heavyweight champ Frank Bruno said he heard Fury might have an injury. On the podcast *Fight Your Corner* with Tony Bellew, Bruno said, “I saw him recently, and someone told me he has an injury that might keep him from fighting Joshua. That’s not great to hear.”

But when White was asked about it, he said he’d never heard anything like that before and thinks the rumor is false. He told Sky Sports, “This is the first time I’m hearing this. If it were true, I’m sure I’d know by now. It’s just part of the excitement building up to the fight. I hope it’s not true.”

Some reports later said Fury has a black eye on his left side, but that probably won’t stop him from fighting.

So, fans can relax and expect the fight between Fury and Joshua to happen next month as planned. If the fight turns out as exciting as many hope, White even hinted that a rematch could happen sooner than we think, no matter who wins.

He said, “Anything’s possible. If this fight is like the Fury vs. Wilder fight, everyone will want to see it again. We’ll see how it goes.”
