Head coach John Herdman will need to regroup his team after the defeat, especially considering the injury to Federico Bernardeschi, who was forced to leave the game in the 18th minute due to an ankle injury suffered during warm-ups. The loss of Bernardeschi will undoubtedly impact Toronto’s lineup moving forward, requiring adjustments to compensate for his absence.
