Martin Brundle tells Jimmy Fallon, “Don’t do that again,” in a funny Miami GP gridwalk moment.

Martin Brundle had a funny moment with comedian and talk show host Jimmy Fallon during his gridwalk at the Miami Grand Prix.
The race takes place at the Hard Rock Stadium and draws many big-name celebrities each year.
Stars like Lionel Messi, DJ Khaled, and Serena Williams were spotted around the circuit all weekend. Messi, the Inter Miami player, was even seen chatting with drivers George Russell and Kimi Antonelli in the Mercedes garage.
Because heavy rain and thunderstorms were expected later on Sunday, the FIA moved the race start time three hours earlier, kicking off at 1 pm local time.
The weather was dry when Brundle did his gridwalk, but it had already caused one support race to be canceled and disrupted the Formula 2 feature race.
After talking with DJ Khaled and actor Patrick Dempsey, Brundle approached Jimmy Fallon, who seemed really excited to meet the Sky Sports F1 expert.
When Brundle asked Fallon for some fun jokes, Fallon tried to be funny by chewing on the top of Brundle’s Sky F1 microphone and ripping it off!
Brundle looked a bit surprised but shook Fallon’s hand and joked, “Don’t take my mic sock again!”
Later, Fallon was seen in the Mercedes garage during the formation lap, and Sky Sports F1 showed the clip.
“That’s my new friend from the gridwalk,” Brundle said with a smile.
The whole moment was lighthearted, and you could tell Fallon really loves F1.
That’s not always the case when Brundle interviews celebs.
Back in 2021 at the United States Grand Prix, rapper Megan Thee Stallion’s bodyguards stopped Brundle from talking to her.
Brundle then joked that celebrities “can’t have bodyguards on the grid any longer” and called it the “Brundle clause,” saying they are “obliged to talk to me.”
He added, “Honestly, sometimes I like it when they ignore me!”
