Steph Curry was shocked when his teammate had to be carried off the court after a terrible, unexpected injury.

Golden State Warriors star Moses Moody had to be taken off the court on a stretcher during his team’s win against the Dallas Mavericks because of a sudden, unusual injury. The Warriors won 137-131 at the American Airlines Center, but the good mood was clouded when Moody went down in overtime, even though no one was near him.
Moody, who had missed 10 games with a wrist injury, had just stolen the ball from Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg and was heading toward the basket, looking ready to add to his 23 points with a little over a minute left. Then, as he went for a fast break dunk, he hurt his knee badly and immediately grabbed his left leg, clearly in pain as he lay on the floor.
The broadcast showed a close-up of Moody’s knee, which looked pretty bad, possibly dislocated. (Warning: graphic images ahead.) Play was stopped, and medical staff quickly came to help him before he was carried off on a stretcher. His teammate Draymond Green was there, comforting him.
Steph Curry, the Warriors’ star who’s out injured right now, watched the moment in shock from the bench. He looked stunned, holding his head in disbelief, then later appeared very upset with his head down.
Moody was taken for an MRI scan, but the Warriors haven’t shared an official update yet. Coach Steve Kerr said he’s worried and hoping for the best. “I saw his leg buckle, and he went down in a heap, clearly in pain,” Kerr said after the game. “We don’t know exactly what it is, but it looked really bad. We’re all hoping for the best case scenario.”
Kerr also praised Moody’s great play before the injury. “He was brilliant, played great defense, and made a big difference with his pressure and important shots. It’s so great to have him back after missing so many games, but then this happened. We’re just praying it’s not too serious, though it definitely looked serious.”
