Casemiro has made his final choice about his next club before his last Man Utd game.
Casemiro said goodbye to the Old Trafford fans on Sunday afternoon with a win against Nottingham Forest. But he still has the chance to play one last game for Manchester United when they visit Brighton and Hove Albion on the final day of the season.
At 34, Casemiro isn’t ready to end his career just yet. He hopes to play for one more top club, adding to his impressive list that already includes Manchester United, Real Madrid, Porto, and Sao Paulo.
Looking ahead, Man United is planning to bring in Ederson from Atlanta to take over Casemiro’s defensive midfielder role next season. This comes after Michael Carrick was made the full-time manager. It seems the club is also interested in a Serie A star as a potential replacement. Meanwhile, Casemiro has his sights set on moving to the United States to play in the MLS as a final chapter in his career.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano recently reported that Casemiro will join Inter Miami this summer once his contract with Manchester United ends. Earlier in the month, Romano revealed that talks between Casemiro and the MLS club have been going on since March.
Casemiro got a warm and emotional farewell from the Old Trafford crowd after the Nottingham Forest win. The club also announced that Tyrell Malacia will be leaving Manchester United.
During his time with the Red Devils, Casemiro won the EFL Cup in 2023 and the FA Cup in 2024. Although he was on the losing side in the 2025 Europa League final when Tottenham Hotspur won, his performances throughout the competition earned him a spot in the UEFA Europa League Team of the Season.
