How to watch the PSG vs Arsenal Champions League final today after TNT Sports’ choice
TNT Sports has decided not to show the Champions League final between Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal for free on regular TV. But don’t worry—there’s a cheaper way to watch it than usual.
The big match happens on Saturday evening in Budapest, ending the European football season. In past years, TNT made the final free to watch, but this time they haven’t.
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer even asked TNT to make the final free earlier this week, but TNT stuck to their plan despite some fans being unhappy.
If you want a full TNT Sports subscription, it costs £30.99 a month, which many fans felt was expensive just to watch one game.
However, TNT is offering the final through HBO Max for a much lower one-time fee—though it’s not completely free. You can subscribe to HBO Max for just £4.99 a month to watch the game.
TNT shared this news in a media release earlier this month, also confirming that the Europa League and Conference League finals will be on HBO Max.
There are two options: a basic subscription with ads for £4.99 a month, or a standard one with fewer ads for £5.99. Normally, a TNT Sports subscription with all content is £40.98 per month, but the European finals are separate this time.
A TNT Sports spokesperson said, “Having three Premier League clubs in the finals shows how strong English football is, and we’re proud to support it. We’ve made all three UEFA finals available for just £4.99 on HBO Max, which is great value for fans who want to watch the season’s biggest games.”
The final’s coverage will be hosted by Laura Woods, with Jules Breach reporting from pitchside before and after the match.
Pundits include Steven Gerrard, Owen Hargreaves, and Arsenal legend Martin Keown. Former Arsenal players Jack Wilshere, Jens Lehmann, and Gilberto Silva will also join in.
Commentary will be by Darren Fletcher and Ally McCoist. Sometimes TNT has a second co-commentator for Champions League games, but this hasn’t been announced yet.
