Football fans were pretty surprised when they spotted who showed up in Madonna’s new 13-minute music video. The pop superstar’s fifteenth studio album, *Confessions II*, comes out on July 3. It’s a follow-up to her 2005 album *Confessions On A Dance Floor*. Two singles from the new album have already made it onto the charts, and Madonna also released *Confessions II – The Film*, which premiered at the Tribeca Festival in New York on Friday, June 5.

The film hit YouTube Monday night and has already been watched over a million times. It features six different singles and lots of cool cameos, including Sabrina Carpenter, Benedict Cumberbatch, Kate Moss, and Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon. But football fans got a big surprise when Chelsea players Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro appeared in a weird bathroom scene.

With the unreleased song *Danceteria* playing, there’s a toilet rave where both Palmer and Pedro are shown using urinals. They share a baffled look as Madonna gently brushes her hand over their backsides. Many thought their appearances were created with AI at first, but they really are in the video about six minutes in. Their unexpected cameo left social media buzzing, with fans wondering how this unusual partnership happened.

One Twitter user wrote, “Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro missed the World Cup and they’re home shooting a music video with Madonna, bruh.” Another said, “Joao Pedro and Cole Palmer in Madonna’s new video? How did that happen?” Others found it funny and surprising, with one asking, “0:06 IS THAT WHO I THINK IT IS?”

While Madonna’s music often plays at stadiums and is loved by some football fans, she’s not usually linked with the sport. But now, the 67-year-old is set to headline the very first World Cup final half-time show on July 19. The concert, organized by Coldplay’s Chris Martin, will take place at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey and will also feature Shakira and BTS.
