Jose Mourinho is willing to sell two Real Madrid players—if one condition is met.

Jose Mourinho is ready to sell two unexpected Real Madrid players, but there’s one catch, it seems.
Mourinho is about to be officially introduced as the new Real Madrid coach this week, after Florentino Perez won the club’s presidential election by a big margin.
Perez, who’s been Real’s president for a long time, got 65% of the votes in the first election in 20 years that featured a challenger.
He said he wanted to bring Mourinho back for a second time at Santiago Bernabeu and promised a record-breaking £130 million offer to sign a top Galactico player.
Mourinho, 63, is set to sign a three-year contract with Madrid, and there are already lots of talks about how he plans to rebuild the team after a season without any trophies.
While the signings of Ibrahima Konate and Denzel Dumfries are nearly done, many players are expected to leave Real as well.
According to El Debate, two young players, Gonzalo Garcia and Franco Mastantuono, could be leaving.
Mastantuono only joined from River Plate last summer for €45 million and played 35 times in his first season.
His playing time dropped after Xabi Alonso left, and he might find it hard to get regular minutes if new attackers arrive.
Garcia is in a similar spot; he joined the first team last season and scored eight goals in his first year.
The report says Real is open to different options for these two talented young players, including selling them permanently or sending them out on loan.
But the club still believes in their potential and wants to add a buy-back clause in any deal.
This is part of Real’s transfer style, and they are likely to use this option to bring back Argentina star Nico Paz from Como after his great performances helped them reach the Champions League with Cesc Fabregas.
If they call him back before June 30, Real will pay just €9 million.
Garcia could be the next player sent to Como to help his growth, while clubs like Juventus and Borussia Dortmund are also interested.
Mourinho is expected to bring many of his staff from Benfica to Real, and there’s talk he wants to bring back former defender Pepe too.
Journalist Ramon Alvarez says Pepe is “well positioned to join Mourinho’s coaching team,” and there’s an offer ready for him.
Pepe played 334 games for Real, winning three La Liga titles and three Champions Leagues, and worked with Mourinho between 2010 and 2013.
He retired in 2024 after playing at Porto and might be about to take a big first step in coaching.
