World Cup fan comes up with smart idea to dodge spoilers from overnight games during the tournament

A football fan has gone viral for coming up with a clever way to avoid spoilers from overnight World Cup matches.
The World Cup is finally here, with 48 teams from all over the world ready to compete in football’s biggest event.
This year, the tournament is happening across North America, with the United States, Mexico, and Canada hosting games all summer long.
There will be 104 matches in total—Canada and Mexico will each host 13, while the USA will host 78 matches, including the final on July 19 at New York’s MetLife Stadium.
For fans in Europe, the tournament being in North America means some games will start very early in the morning, making it tough to watch every match live.
For example, Scotland fans, excited to see their team’s first World Cup game since 1998, will need to be up at 2 AM to watch their match against Haiti at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts.
While many fans will happily get up early to cheer on their teams, others won’t be able to and will have to watch the game or highlights later without having the results spoiled.
But thanks to social media, avoiding spoilers can be really hard since big moments and scores are shared online almost instantly.
That’s where football fan Sam (@FPLSportScience) comes in. He’s built a cool new website called Spoiler Free Football that lets fans watch World Cup highlights without seeing any spoilers.
The site shows every match and includes highlight clips from different broadcasters, but cleverly hides any spoiler words in the titles.
Sam shared that he’ll keep working on the site throughout the World Cup to make it easy for fans everywhere to use, no matter where they live.
Good news for England fans—none of their group stage games are in the early morning, so most can watch without any trouble.
But if you miss any group matches or knockout games, you can catch all the highlights spoiler-free on Sam’s smart website.
