Mo Salah’s agent speaks out after Liverpool star is linked to a big European team

Mohamed Salah’s agent has shared a message after rumors connected the Liverpool star with a move to Turkish club Fenerbahce.

Salah is busy getting ready for the World Cup with Egypt, but talk about his next team hasn’t stopped. His contract with Liverpool runs out at the end of June.

Since it was confirmed he would be leaving Liverpool, the 33-year-old has been linked with moves to Saudi Arabia, though it’s not clear if anything official has happened.

On the other hand, Fenerbahce’s club president, Aziz Yıldırım, said they might try to sign Salah. He told reporters, “He would want a three-year contract, and the total cost would be €90 million. If he’s a priority for us, we will sign him! Our football committee will decide.”

Adding to the Turkey rumors, Egypt goalkeeper Ahmed El-Shenway hinted that Salah might even stay at Liverpool after their coach Arne Slot was fired.

“He’s been there a long time. He knows the club well, gave his all, had many great moments, and won lots of trophies,” El-Shenway said on Egyptian TV. “Leaving would be tough for him, that’s normal. But maybe things could change and he might stay. Nobody really knows yet. He said to me, ‘Honestly, I still don’t know.’ So he hasn’t made up his mind.”

Of course, Salah and Slot didn’t always get along during their time at Liverpool. Salah spoke out against Slot several times, and just before Slot was let go, Salah called for a return to the intense, fast-paced style of former coach Jurgen Klopp, which many saw as a subtle jab at Slot.

With all the rumors swirling, Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, took to social media to clear things up. He said, “Mohamed is doing great. Neither he nor I like talking about future plans with people who aren’t involved. We both keep these things private. Yes, people ask, and we give polite answers, but that’s it.”

Besides Salah, several of his former Liverpool teammates might also be leaving Anfield. Curtis Jones, Cody Gakpo, and Federico Chiesa’s futures are still uncertain. Meanwhile, Andrew Robertson and Ibrahima Konate have already confirmed their exits.

Liverpool is also linked with new signings like Yan Diomande, Lee Han-beom, Alex Scott, Rayan, Adrien Truffert, and Eli Junior Kroupi as the team prepares for the future.
