Arsenal fans are excited and urging manager Mikel Arteta to sign Morocco’s rising star, Ayyoub Bouaddi, right after their 1-1 draw with Brazil in the World Cup.
Morocco started Group C perfectly, with Real Madrid’s Brahim Diaz assisting Ismael Saibari, who scored a lovely lob over Brazil’s goalkeeper, Alisson. The Africa Cup of Nations champions controlled the first 30 minutes, but Brazil’s Vinicius Junior showed his skill with a smart equalizer at the 32nd minute.
After that, Brazil had more control, but Morocco nearly snatched the win in stoppage time when Neil El Aynaoui was twice stopped by Alisson. Bouaddi dropped deep to help get the ball, pointed out passing options to teammates, and frequently pushed forward when he had the ball. He completed 91% of his passes, won four tackles, made five interceptions, and recovered the ball six times.
