NBA legend LeBron James is off the free agency market, according to well-known sportswriter Bill Simmons. After eight years with the LA Lakers, James became a free agent following the 2025-26 season, choosing not to re-sign with the team.
LeBron’s agent, Rich Paul, explained that LeBron wants to finish his career by winning another NBA championship. “LeBron knows the Lakers are focusing on the future, but he still wants to compete for titles,” Paul told The Athletic. “We want to find what’s best for LeBron at this point in his life and career.
