Thomas Tuchel has a heated exchange with an ITV reporter after Norway’s win.

After England beat Norway to secure a spot in the 2026 World Cup semi-final, Thomas Tuchel had a tense moment with an ITV reporter who asked about the team’s mindset.

Jude Bellingham scored twice to help England reach the final four, even though a strange goal from Norway put England behind early. The game wasn’t the most exciting, especially with the heat wearing down both teams after 120 minutes, but England showed great grit. Players like Jordan Pickford, John Stones, and Dan Burn stood strong during extra time.

After the match, Tuchel said he wasn’t happy with how the team played, despite some strong efforts. When the reporter asked if it was a mental issue, Tuchel got upset and exchanged words with ITV.

Clark asked how the team handled the challenge, and Tuchel said they made things harder for themselves and the result was lucky. When questioned about mentality, Tuchel said, “This is pure mentality,” and insisted the problem was with how they played, not their mindset.

Tuchel has been very open and emotional on the sidelines, even having moments of clashes with players but in a positive way. Now, England moves forward to face Argentina in the semi-final.
