Mike Tyson and Oleksandr Usyk have different opinions on who will win the Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua fight.
The big fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua is getting closer, and it looks like it could be an exciting and unpredictable match between two heavyweight stars.
Both fighters have finished their warm-up fights for the huge £100 million ‘Battle of Britain’ planned for November. Joshua had a shaky start when Kristian Prenga knocked him down twice early in their match in Jeddah. But Joshua bounced back and knocked out Prenga in the second round. This was Joshua’s first fight since his December showdown with Jake Paul and dealing with the loss of close friends in a tragic car accident that also injured him.
Fury’s recent fight was much smoother. The Gypsy King easily beat Mariusz Wach in Thailand, with Wach’s team giving up after the seventh round.
Now, all eyes are on the big showdown in the fall. Interestingly, former champions Mike Tyson and Oleksandr Usyk have different opinions on who will win. Usyk thinks Joshua will knock Fury out, while Tyson is rooting for Fury, partly because they share the same name!
Fury and Joshua’s match will be their first face-off, and Usyk knows Fury well — he’s the only fighter to beat Fury twice in 2024, taking some of his heavyweight titles. Fury has since bounced back with wins as he prepares for this major fight.
Fury has held the WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBO belts before, making him a tough opponent for Joshua, who’s also a former WBA, WBO, and IBF heavyweight champ. Joshua’s record is 30 wins and 4 losses, including two losses to Usyk in big title fights.
This upcoming fight is shaping up to be one of the most exciting nights in boxing!
