Alex Eala scores a big sponsorship deal just days before the US Open!

Alex Eala has had an amazing year on the WTA Tour and is getting ready for her third US Open. At just 21, she won her first singles title last month at the Washington Open, a big WTA 500 event.

She kept up her great form in two big WTA 1000 tournaments, making it to the Round of 16 in Toronto and the Round of 32 in Cincinnati. Right now, Alex is one of the hottest players in women’s tennis. So much so that tennis legend John McEnroe told the USTA they should let her play on the big courts at the US Open because she will draw big crowds.

Her rising star has brought her lots of great sponsorship deals. Just days before the 2026 US Open, Alex signed a new deal with Panasonic. After reaching a career-high ranking of No. 18, she has now become an ambassador for Panasonic Philippines.

As Alex’s career grows, she works hard to improve and hopes to win her first Grand Slam, starting with the 2026 US Open. Panasonic said they chose to partner with her because of her strong dedication, which matches their brand values.

In an interview with the Manila Standard, Alex shared, “I think each match I kept improving and learning more about myself. It’s great to see the things I work on in training show up in my matches.”

After the Canadian Open, Alex landed her first big sponsorship deal as the face of Marriott Bonvoy’s Asia Pacific Tennis The World campaign (excluding China). She also has a long-time deal with Nike, who recently released a black Alex Eala T-shirt for $42 that sold out in hours—something even bigger men’s stars like Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner didn’t achieve.

Alex also has partnerships with Globe Telecom, Babolat, Bank of the Philippine Islands, Milo Philippines, and Locally Juice, showing just how popular she is right now.
