Fans have the chance to own a piece of Ballon d’Or history – but they’ll need to act fast!
This weekend, the biggest personal award in football is being announced! England’s Harry Kane is going head-to-head with Barcelona’s young star Lamine Yamal and Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe for the famous Ballon d’Or title.
The race has sparked tons of talk, with the top players sharing their thoughts in interviews. Now, fans can join in the excitement with a special piece of football history. Just before the ceremony, a cool new Ballon d’Or merchandise collection was unveiled.
Men’s hair brand Slick Gorilla, known for its popular barbershop-style products, is launching an official Ballon d’Or range ahead of the ceremony on 26 October 2026. The limited-edition collection comes with a one-of-a-kind official Ballon d’Or football!
The stylish black and gold barber box set features this unique football, and once it’s sold out, it won’t be restocked. Other items in the range include a Ballon d’Or Sea Salt Spray (£14.95) and Ballon d’Or Texture Powder, both available on Slick Gorilla’s website.
There’s also a Ballon d’Or Styling Set (£22.95) that includes a Cream Styler and Texture Comb. These products go on sale at the same time as the ceremony but only for a short period—so fans need to act fast to grab their limited-edition football and a cool piece of football culture.
This could be the first time we see Lamine Yamal, Harry Kane, or Kylian Mbappe win the Ballon d’Or after years of Messi and Ronaldo topping the awards.
Slick Gorilla says the set celebrates the growing link between football stars and their hairstyles. Recently, Ballon d’Or favorite Lamine Yamal made headlines when his barber arrived in a Rolls Royce to give him a fresh World Cup haircut!
This exclusive Ballon d’Or collection shines a light on the fun connection between football, grooming, and culture.
