Here’s the Football Manager 27 budget for every Premier League club, with Man United getting a surprising amount to spend!
Football Manager 27 is here, and there’s some great news—Sports Interactive has made the new game free to play until November 3! PC and Mac players can jump into the early access preview before the official release on November 10. Loads of fans have already started their saves and can keep playing with their progress when the full game launches.
Picking a team to manage is always tricky. Many like to choose a real challenge instead of just going for the best squad. One big thing to think about is the club’s transfer budget, and FM27 has different amounts for teams in the English Premier League.
The Premier League is the richest league in the world, with a median transfer budget of £20.15 million in the game. At the lower end, Leeds United starts with no money for transfers, so you’ll probably be looking at free transfers and loans or selling players to get funds. Aston Villa also has a tight budget, with just £860,000 to spend, thanks to their long-term Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR).
On the other hand, Arsenal, the champions, have a huge £152.7 million to boost their already strong squad—more than twice anyone else! Brighton surprisingly come second with £67.7 million, followed by Bournemouth with £54.5 million as they compete in Europe for the first time. That’s even more than Chelsea, Manchester City, and Liverpool.
Everton also have a decent £45 million, which puts them ahead of their city rivals Liverpool. Tottenham has £25.9 million to spend, but it’s tougher news for Manchester United fans with just £14 million, a big drop from the £70 million they had in FM17. Newcastle also have a limited budget of £13 million.
Here’s a quick look at the transfer and weekly wage budgets for some teams:
– Arsenal: £152.7M transfer, £4.9M wage
– Brighton: £67.7M transfer, £2.27M wage
– Bournemouth: £54.5M transfer, £2.34M wage
– Chelsea: £52.1M transfer, £4.37M wage
– Man City: £48.9M transfer, £5.9M wage
– Everton: £45M transfer, £2.1M wage
– Liverpool: £43.3M transfer, £5.7M wage
– Tottenham: £25.9M transfer, £4.6M wage
– Man United: £14.4M transfer, £4.5M wage
– Newcastle: £13.3M transfer, £3.06M wage
– Leeds United: £0 transfer, £1.79M wage
