Mike Tyson is asking the US Government to stop something he believes is harming young people.

Boxing legend Mike Tyson recently joined The Secretary Kennedy Podcast to share an important message with the US Government about something he believes is harming young people today.
Known for being the unstoppable heavyweight champ, Tyson was more than just a tough fighter. During his prime, he was extremely fit and often credited his strict diet for keeping him healthy. Over the years, he’s switched between being vegan and eating meat to avoid certain health risks. Now, he’s calling on the government to take a closer look at food laws, especially around processed foods.
Tyson says processed foods are one of the biggest dangers facing young people today. On the podcast with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., he explained that even though he’s not throwing punches in the ring at the moment, he’s still fighting for a healthier America — starting by cutting down on processed food.
He pointed out that ultra-processed foods can lead to obesity and even cancer. Tyson shared a personal story about two friends who died in their late 40s or early 50s from cancer, saying their unhealthy diets and processed foods played a big role. His advice? “Real food is the only way to go.”
Tyson isn’t alone in this thinking — for example, Cristiano Ronaldo’s chef advised him to avoid milk for health reasons. When it comes to solutions, Tyson admits processed food can’t be stopped completely but believes there should be more education on healthy eating. He also says we need more mentors to help change how people see taking care of themselves — not just as vanity, but as a way to live longer and feel better.
He said, “We need mentors to teach people how to eat right and take care of themselves. Yes, everyone will eat some processed food, but moderation is key. Sometimes a little vanity helps people love themselves more and take pride in their health. We need to respect ourselves enough to leave ultra-processed food behind.”
Lately, Tyson has been making big changes to his own lifestyle to stay in top shape for his upcoming fight with Jake Paul — cutting out some major parts of his old diet and habits. He’s proof that taking care of yourself really does make a difference.
