Arsenal fans suggest to Mikel Arteta which PSG player to watch in the Champions League final

Arsenal fans think they’ve spotted a weak spot in PSG’s team that Mikel Arteta could use to his advantage in the Champions League final.

On Tuesday, the Gunners secured their place in the final with a 2-1 win on aggregate over Atletico Madrid, keeping their unbeaten streak in the competition going. They’re also leading the Premier League by five points, so Arteta might finally prove the doubters wrong and achieve a historic double this season.

In the final, Arsenal will face the current champions, Paris Saint-Germain, who narrowly beat Bayern Munich 6-5 on aggregate. Facing Luis Enrique’s team is tough for any club right now, but Arsenal fans believe there’s one player they must focus on if they want to win the Champions League for the first time.

PSG’s squad has some of the best players in the world, like Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Vitinha, and 2025 Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembele. But many Arsenal fans think Nuno Mendes is a weak link, and that Bukayo Saka could take advantage of him during the final at the Puskas Arena on May 30.

After Mendes’ performance in the semi-final against Bayern, one Arsenal fan tweeted: “Mendes defensively is going to be food for Saka.” Another said, “Saka has something for Nuno Mendes,” and a third added, “Saka will cook Mendes, I promise you.”

Mendes had a controversial moment in the semi-finals when he avoided a second yellow card for a handball, which upset Bayern’s manager Vincent Kompany. Meanwhile, Saka has been in great form since coming back from a long 101-day injury break, scoring and assisting in a Premier League game against Fulham and netting the winner in the Champions League semi-final against Atletico.

So, it’s no surprise that Arsenal fans are feeling confident about Saka stepping up in the Champions League final later this month.
