It looks like West Ham could have a very busy summer ahead after their recent drop to the Championship. They’ll need to raise about £150 million from player sales, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka might be one of the first to move on.

Even though West Ham won 3-0 against Leeds on the last day, they were still relegated because Tottenham won their game, keeping them just above by two points. This relegation will affect the club both on and off the field. Reports say they’ll need to sell players to make up for the financial loss that comes with playing in England’s second division.

Now, other teams are starting to show interest in some of West Ham’s stars. Mateus Fernandes, who is probably their top player right now, is linked with a move to Manchester United. West Ham will hope to make some profit after paying £40 million for him last August. El Hadji Malick Diouf has also been linked with a move to United, while Jarrod Bowen, Crysencio Summerville, and Konstantinos Mavropanos might leave as well.

So, who else could leave? According to The Telegraph, Everton are ready to offer £10 million for Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Wan-Bissaka, who signed a seven-year contract after moving from Manchester United, lost his place toward the end of the 2025-26 season, as Nuno Espirito Santo preferred Kyle Walker-Peters. West Ham might end up losing money on the £15 million they paid for the 28-year-old, who has made 65 appearances since joining.

In other news, The Guardian reported after the final game of the season that West Ham turned down a chance to sign Brazilian forward Rayan. The 19-year-old recently joined Bournemouth from Vasco da Gama for £24.7 million and has been impressive, scoring five goals and assisting twice in the league.

West Ham also passed on a January loan move for Newcastle’s William Osula, who has been on fire lately. Since the March international break, Osula has scored six goals in eight Premier League games and has the best goals-per-minute ratio in the league this season.

It’s clear West Ham will see some big changes this summer as they prepare for life in the Championship.
