Kim Kardashian gets called out for a ‘selfish’ moment at Monaco GP as new footage comes to light

Kim Kardashian was called “selfish” after a moment from the Formula One Monaco Grand Prix caught attention. She made news by attending the race this weekend to support Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton, who many say is her boyfriend.
On Saturday, she walked into the paddock at Circuit de Monaco for qualifying, and on Sunday, she watched from a balcony above the garages during the main race, where Hamilton finished second behind Kimi Räikkönen. Surrounded by lots of security, Kim and her sister Khloe didn’t stop to chat with Martin Brundle during the busy Sky Sports gridwalk—just gave a small wave instead.
Some people thought Kim was “rude” and “disrespectful” for not stopping to talk. Brundle even said, “Normally people have a quick chat with us.”
This was Kim’s first time in the paddock, though she didn’t have a special pass, and her presence sparked a lot of buzz online. But she also faced criticism for another moment. A video showed her grabbing a towel that was on display and using it to wipe her face. However, that towel belonged to Räikkönen—it had F1 branding and the number “1” from his recent win.
Kim probably didn’t know the towel was for him, but many fans got upset. On Reddit, one user said, “How do you just grab something that’s clearly not yours? Unbelievable.” Another wrote, “That’s the kind of behaviour of someone who thinks the world revolves around them.” Others called her actions “selfish” and said she shouldn’t be near the paddock or track.
Kim was also seen with the Ferrari team during the podium celebration, sharing a hug with Hamilton, who even blew her a kiss. Although George Russell called her “Hamilton’s girlfriend,” the racing star hasn’t officially confirmed their relationship yet. But he did thank her for her support after his strong race.
“It’s amazing to have her here and supporting me,” Hamilton said. “My friends and everyone made an incredible effort to come out. It’s good to have people around you who support you, and she does that every day.”
Hamilton is currently second in the drivers’ championship, heading to the next race in Barcelona for the Spanish Grand Prix next weekend.
