Arsenal has finally won the Premier League, but there’s already talk about a possible player leaving the title-winning team. The Gunners were crowned champions for the first time in 22 years after Manchester City couldn’t beat Bournemouth on Tuesday night.

After finishing second for three seasons in a row, Arsenal topped the league, and the players had a big celebration at their London Colney training ground. Mikel Arteta’s team will lift the trophy after their game against Crystal Palace on Sunday, with captain Martin Odegaard and the rest of the squad getting their winner’s medals.

However, Sky Germany reports that Ethan Nwaneri might leave Arsenal this summer. The 19-year-old, who was once the youngest player to appear in the Premier League, was even nominated for the PFA Young Player of the Year last season. He signed a long-term contract until 2030 in August but has found it hard to get regular game time.

Nwaneri didn’t start any Premier League games and played just six times, but that’s enough for him to earn a winner’s medal. In January, he went on loan to Marseille, where he scored twice in 11 games and helped them finish fifth in Ligue 1.

Nwaneri will go back to Arsenal, but Borussia Dortmund from Germany are very interested in him. They tried to sign him before he extended his contract and are still keen, checking in about his future. Nwaneri is open to moving this summer and wouldn’t mind joining Dortmund, who are known for developing young players who haven’t had many chances yet.

That said, a deal isn’t certain because of a high transfer fee and some problems arranging a loan. While Nwaneri earned his medal by playing enough games, Arsenal’s backup goalkeepers, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Tommy Setford, didn’t play at all in the Premier League and won’t get medals.

Arsenal will receive 40 medals from the Premier League in total and can give them to anyone they feel helped with this amazing win.
