Vincent Kompany’s team, the current Bundesliga champions, also made it to the Champions League semi-finals with their exciting, attacking style of play. So far, their summer transfer window has been pretty quiet, with left-back Nathaniel Brown and forward Ismael Saibari being their main signings.
It looks like Bayern will focus more on selling players before the window closes. The club’s honorary president, Uli Hoeness, denied rumors that star playmaker Michael Olise might leave despite strong interest from Real Madrid. He told reporters, “Olise still has three years on his contract, so that’s not something we’re considering. Even if the Emperor of China wanted him, we wouldn’t sell. The same goes for Luis Diaz. We have the best attacking trio in Olise, Diaz, and Kane, and we won’t sell any of them.”
While those three are staying, Bayern’s sporting director Max Eberl said that right-back Sacha Boey, winger Bryan Zaragoza, and midfielder Joao Palhinha can leave. Palhinha spent last season on loan at Tottenham and scored the winning goal in a crucial match that kept Spurs in the Premier League. Although it seemed like he would join Spurs permanently, the deal didn’t happen, and Spurs signed Sandro Tonali from Newcastle instead.
Boey played for Galatasaray on loan last season, and Zaragoza was at Roma. Now all three are back at Bayern for pre-season. Eberl said, “We are open to letting these three players go. They don’t have a future at Bayern. If they want to stay, it will be tough because we don’t plan to use them, so they won’t get playing time.”

They’re now looking to bring in reinforcements before the Premier League season starts. If Palhinha moves, it would be his third Premier League club, after two seasons with Fulham.
