Brock Lesnar touched WWE legend’s heart with a sweet gesture for his daughter
WWE legend Mark Henry got emotional when he shared what Brock Lesnar said to his daughter.
Lesnar recently shook up WWE at the 42nd WrestleMania, held in Las Vegas in late April. He lost to Femi in just 4 minutes and 42 seconds on night two. After the match, Lesnar placed his gear in the ring and got teary-eyed as Paul Heyman came out, and the two shared a hug.
Triple H, another WWE legend and now Chief Content Officer, hinted that Lesnar might be ending his amazing career. Since then, many people in WWE have praised Lesnar and congratulated him, even though he hasn’t officially said he’s retiring yet.
While it looks like Lesnar is stepping away from WWE, he’s still helping the younger wrestlers. Mark Henry got emotional talking about how “The Beast Incarnate” spent some time giving advice to his daughter, who’s a wrestler.
On the podcast Stuck In My Thoughts, Henry said, “Big shout out to Brock Lesnar. He spent a couple of hours with my daughter. He said, ‘Man, my daughters — one does throwing, my boys play hockey, no one to pass my wrestling knowledge to.’ He said, ‘I saw your daughter,’ and I said, ‘Thank you, Brock.’”
Henry got choked up and said, “He knows me well. He doesn’t know my kids like that, but still took the time to share his wisdom. That means more than money. Teaching someone how to be great — that’s really special.”
In another interview with ITR Wrestling, Henry said he thinks Lesnar isn’t done yet and might come back at SummerSlam, which will be held in Lesnar’s home state of Minnesota.
Henry said, “I hope Brock returns because SummerSlam is in Minnesota, where he’s from. It would be a perfect place for him to retire and get the respect he deserves from the fans. I respect Brock and his legacy — I believe he still has a lot to give.”
SummerSlam is scheduled for August 1 and 2.
