Cristiano Ronaldo fires back at Simon Jordan with harsh message to Piers Morgan after Portugal argument
Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t hold back when responding to Simon Jordan’s heated debate with Piers Morgan about Ronaldo’s clash with Portugal’s coach, Jorge Jesus.
After a disagreement with coach Jesus, Ronaldo confirmed he left Portugal’s training camp last week, after being on the bench during their 2-1 Nations League win over Norway in Oslo.
Morgan, who says he’s a close friend of Ronaldo, discussed the situation with talkSPORT host Jordan — but Ronaldo wasn’t happy with how it went.

After Ronaldo accused Jesus of breaking promises, Jordan didn’t shy away from questioning Ronaldo’s behavior.
“Do you think maybe the reason for some of these problems could be Ronaldo himself?” Jordan asked.
Morgan quickly defended Ronaldo, saying he was proud of him for standing up for himself, and even sent a clip of their talk to Ronaldo.
Now, Morgan says Ronaldo replied with a funny message that shut Jordan down completely.
“I sent Cristiano the clip of the chat with Simon Jordan, and he texted back,” Morgan said on his Football Uncensored show.
“He said, ‘That blonde guy — tell him to STOP with the botox. He looks like an apple!’”
Morgan added, “Breaking news from Ronaldo: Simon Jordan, you’re an apple. A suspiciously smooth-faced apple.”
When another guest joked that Jordan might be annoyed Ronaldo just called him “that blonde guy,” Morgan said Jordan “was last naturally blonde about 20 years ago.”

It’s clear Morgan and Ronaldo aren’t impressed with Jordan’s comments about their friendship or Ronaldo’s issues with Jesus.
During the talkSPORT show, Jordan criticized Morgan’s 2022 interview with Ronaldo before his Manchester United exit, calling it “a sycophantic, butt-kissing, eyeball-glazing love affair.”
Jordan also said, “From your experience with players, you can’t see the possibility that Ronaldo’s own behavior could be a common cause of these problems.”
Calling Jordan a “wally,” Morgan responded, “I’m proud of Ronaldo because he stood up for himself.
“In life, you have to stand up for yourself—not just when people disrespect you but also when your boss lies to you.
“He’s near the end of his career, knows his legacy, and wants to finish on his own terms. One thing about Ronaldo is, you have to be honest with him and show respect.”
Ronaldo’s future with Portugal is still uncertain. He says he’s not retiring from international football but believes he should face consequences for walking out on his national team and manager.
