Dana White reveals how much money the Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury fight will earn from ticket sales.

Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are gearing up for the biggest fight in British boxing history on December 11, and the excitement is really growing.
These two top British heavyweights are finally going to settle once and for all who’s the best, after years of back-and-forth talk outside the ring.
Over 80,000 fans will fill Cardiff’s Principality Stadium in just over two months, and those lucky enough to get tickets will be part of something truly special.

Tickets went on sale on Friday, October 9, and more than half a million people queued on Ticketmaster just to try and get in. The cheapest seats started at about £88.50, while some premium seats sold for a staggering £13,128. Thousands were snapped up within the first hour!

Dana White, who’s been heavily involved with promoting the fight, told Sky Sports, “There were over 500,000 people waiting. It’s amazing. For our generation, these two are the biggest, most famous heavyweights ever. It’s clearly the biggest UK fight between two British heavyweights.”

This fight between AJ and Fury has been a long time coming—over a decade in the making! White expects it to pull in the biggest crowd and money ever seen in British boxing. “Definitely. We’re looking at around $34 million in revenue,” he said. “The UK is the perfect place for this fight, but it could’ve been huge anywhere.”

That $34 million (£28.8 million) estimate includes tickets, VIP packages, hotels, and travel, smashing all previous British boxing records. In fact, the priciest tickets are even higher than some seats for major worldwide events, like the 2026 FIFA World Cup final where seats went for about £8,333.

To suit fans in the US, the fighters’ ring walks are planned for 1am GMT early Saturday morning (December 12). A request was made to keep the stadium open until 3:30am on fight night, which upset some British fans.

But the buzz keeps growing! At a press event on September 30, Fury sent a strong message to Joshua:
“I’m gonna come out and blast him out of there,” said the 38-year-old.
“It’s gonna be a real fight, and the best man will win because I’m not running or boxing—I’m throwing down! When I catch him, it’ll be curtains.”

In July, Fury won by TKO in round seven against Mariusz Wach in Thailand. Joshua had a tougher time but knocked out Kristian Prenga in round two after getting knocked down early.

Now, these two great fighters will battle it out to see who’s the best British boxer of this generation—with a lot on the line, inside and outside the ring.
