Ex-WWE star shares Brock Lesnar’s ‘return date’ and talks about a $50 million offer claim

Former WWE star CJ Perry thinks Brock Lesnar will be back next year, even though he seemed to retire at Wrestlemania last weekend. Lesnar left his gloves and boots in the ring after his match with rising star Oba Femi in Las Vegas on Sunday.
After the event, WWE’s chief content officer Triple H said it “seemed that way” when asked if Lesnar was really retiring. But according to Fightful, WWE officials were caught off guard by this and thought Lesnar would announce his retirement later, at SummerSlam in his hometown of Minneapolis.
Fans online even guessed that Lesnar used a secret WWE sign to show he was going off script after the match. But CJ Perry isn’t convinced this is the end of the road for Lesnar.
“I think we all expected him to retire in Minnesota,” she told TMZ. “It felt a little too predictable for him to do it there. I loved the surprise, but it’s hard for me to really believe someone is done forever. Like John Cena—he had a big farewell tour and is already back,” she added.
The former AEW star predicts the 49-year-old will return quickly when he’s offered a deal he can’t refuse.
“I think Brock Lesnar will be fighting in Saudi Arabia next year. A prince or king there will want him and pay him 20-50 million, and he’ll show up,” she said. “That’s my guess, but we’ll see.”
Even though Triple H seemed to hint at Lesnar’s goodbye, Paul Heyman disagreed. When asked about Lesnar’s future, Heyman said he expects “Another 15 years of dominance by Brock Lesnar.”
