Jadon Sancho is wanted by four Premier League clubs as he looks to leave Man Utd.
Jadon Sancho’s Premier League journey might not be over yet, even though he’s leaving Manchester United this summer as a free agent.
After five tough years that didn’t work out well for either side, Sancho will be leaving United when his contract ends in June. He joined the club from Borussia Dortmund in July 2021 for about £73 million, signing a five-year deal with the option to stay an extra year.
Since then, Sancho has played 83 times for United, spending just over 5,000 minutes on the pitch, scoring 12 goals and helping with six assists. For much of his time at United, he was loaned out to other teams, including Dortmund, Chelsea, and most recently, Aston Villa.
As United won’t be offering him a new contract, reports say Sancho hopes to stay with Aston Villa next season because he really enjoyed playing there. This season, he played 39 games for Villa, scored once, and helped set up three goals. The club is reportedly interested in signing him on a cheaper deal once he’s a free agent.
Sancho told TNT Sports about his time at Villa, “It’s my teammates and my manager who have given me confidence. My teammates have been great, and I feel like I can do even more. I’m just happy the team is doing well and we’re in a good spot.”
But Villa isn’t the only Premier League club interested. SportsBoom says Bournemouth and Crystal Palace are also keeping an eye on him, and Brentford has already asked about signing him once his United contract runs out.
Any deal with Villa, or another club, will likely depend on Sancho agreeing to take a pay cut. At United, he earned around £10.4 million for the 2025-2026 season, which is about £200,000 a week before bonuses.
With Villa now playing in the Champions League, they might be able to offer more, but they probably won’t want to pay a player who isn’t a regular starter as their highest earner.
