Kai Trump shares a surprising health scare that took place at the 2026 Masters

Kai Trump had a special time at the 2026 Masters at Augusta this month, attending as a VIP guest and getting to see Rory McIlroy win the title again. The 18-year-old enjoyed a fancy experience at the tournament, even taking pictures with stars like Bryson DeChambeau.
It’s no surprise she loves golf since her grandfather is Donald Trump, the current US president, who owns many golf courses and really enjoys the sport. But despite a fun weekend, Kai had a bit of a scare when she had an allergic reaction that needed quick medical help.
She shared what happened on her YouTube channel while getting ready for prom. Kai explained, “I used hand soap to wash my face at Augusta, and then bumps appeared on my neck. I had to get a steroid shot – the needle was pretty big. My skin is very sensitive, so it was really scary.”
Luckily, the rash is gone now, and she still had a great time at the Masters, congratulating McIlroy on his amazing back-to-back wins. Kai is active on social media and has shown off her golf skills for a while. Her grandfather Donald loves golf too and is often seen playing when he’s not busy as president.
They’ve even played rounds together, with Kai working to improve her game. She hopes to become a big name in women’s golf, like the Northern Irish star. Kai made her LPGA debut last November, though it was a tough start, finishing 19 shots behind and 13 over par.
