Khvicha Kvaratskhelia could be part of a surprising swap deal that would shake up all of Europe!
Paris Saint-Germain star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is at the center of an exciting summer transfer rumor that could surprise football fans across Europe.
Since joining the French champions, the 25-year-old has become one of the best players in the world. He played a key part in PSG’s back-to-back Champions League wins, scoring 19 goals and providing 11 assists last season. His efforts helped PSG win another Ligue 1 title and beat Arsenal in the Champions League final.
Kvaratskhelia only moved to Paris from Napoli in January 2025 for £59 million—a fee that already looks like a bargain. He still has a contract with PSG until June 2029, but reports say he is starting to worry about his future at the club.
According to El Nacional, Kvaratskhelia is unsure about his role if PSG signs new forwards Yan Diomande and Maghnes Akilouche this summer. The club is also linked with a huge move for Vinicius Junior, which could affect things further.
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi reportedly does not want to sell Kvaratskhelia, and the team isn’t under financial pressure to let him go. Another forward, Bradley Barcola, is valued at a minimum of £116 million, so any offer for Kvaratskhelia would likely be even higher.
That said, a transfer isn’t impossible. While PSG want to keep their top attacker, a big swap deal could work well for both sides.
Real Madrid is expected to be very active this summer after hiring Jose Mourinho. They’ve already signed defenders Ibrahima Konate and Marc Cucurella, and midfielder Bernardo Silva is set to join as a free agent. Vinicius Junior could be a key player in their plans, but his future is uncertain as his contract enters its final year.
Vini Jr. is focused on the World Cup with Brazil, but he could become a free agent next year and start talks with other clubs from January. He reportedly wants a huge £51 million loyalty bonus to stay at Real Madrid, which has led the club to look for forwards who could replace him.
Mourinho reportedly wants Real to sign a top-class forward, with Bayern Munich’s Michael Olise among the options. However, Bayern isn’t interested in selling Olise, so the focus shifts back to Kvaratskhelia.
Real Madrid has Kvaratskhelia on their wishlist, but PSG are firm about not selling him. Le Parisien suggests that the only thing that might change their minds is if Real Madrid offers Vinicius Junior in exchange for Kvaratskhelia—a stunning swap deal that would give both teams a world-class forward.
It might not be the perfect result for either side, but if both players want to move this summer, a swap could be a good solution for everyone.
