Man Utd players were amazed by how much Benjamin Sesko’s body has changed when he came back to training.
Benjamin Sesko has fans buzzing after showing off a new, stronger physique as he returned to training with Manchester United.
Since joining from RB Leipzig last summer, Sesko scored a solid 12 goals in 32 games. Although his start at Old Trafford was a bit tough, the Slovenian forward really stepped up during the 2025/26 season. The arrival of Michael Carrick as coach helped boost his form in the second half, and United finished third in the Premier League.
At 23 years old, Sesko is expected to get more playing time this season since United are competing in four tournaments: the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, and Carabao Cup.
His last season ended early because of a shin injury he got in a match against Liverpool in May, which made him miss the final three games.
From a recent Instagram post, it looks like Sesko spent a good part of his summer in the gym, showing off a noticeably more muscular build. On July 23, he posted training photos in a sleeveless shirt, revealing his stronger upper body. This caught the attention of fans and teammates alike.
Teammate Diogo Dalot joked, “@schwarzenegger must be his inspiration 💪🏻❤️ my brate is strong,” while Bruno Fernandes added, “Brateeee 💪🏼.” (Brate means brother or bro in Slavic languages.)
Fans also shared their thoughts. One asked, “Is it just me, or does Sesko look like he’s bulked up a bit?” Another said, “Forget Captain America—that’s my striker! Sesko’s ready to bully defenders. Number 21 is coming home!” Someone else put it simply: “Benjamin Sesko looks in amazing shape, right?”
Others joked about United’s training approach: “Is the secret at Carrington to bulk up players when they’re in form? Sesko, I’m sorry for what’s coming your way.” And another fan wrote, “Looks like Sesko isn’t letting defenders push him around this season…”
Manchester United’s pre-season continues with a game against Rosenborg on July 24, followed by matches versus Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Leeds United, and AC Milan. Sesko is still working to get fully fit and didn’t join the team for the trip to Norway for the Rosenborg game.
The Premier League season kicks off with United visiting Hull City on August 22.
