Man Utd reached out about an amazing Real Madrid transfer that totally took everyone by surprise!
Manchester United have reportedly been given the chance to sign Real Madrid young star Endrick during the summer transfer window.
The 20-year-old is thinking about his future at Madrid because he’s worried he might not get much playing time under Jose Mourinho next season.
Endrick did really well while on loan at Lyon last season, scoring five goals and providing seven assists. His good form even helped him get picked for Brazil’s World Cup squad. But with Real Madrid’s current lineup, getting regular minutes might still be tough for him.
It’s been a busy summer at the Bernabéu, with Mourinho making a lot of changes after coming back. Madrid have signed Carlos Espi as a backup striker and spent around £120 million to bring in RB Leipzig star Yan Diomande.
To make things harder for Endrick, star player Vinicius Junior has signed a new long-term deal, which means even less playing time might be available.
Because of all this, Endrick is now thinking about leaving before the transfer deadline. His agents are already looking into different options for him.
Endrick prefers to move to the Premier League, and talks have been held with several clubs. Manchester United are one of the teams interested, but Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City are also in the mix. Surprisingly, Tottenham, Aston Villa, and Fulham (managed by former Real Madrid player Álvaro Arbeloa) are mentioned as possible destinations too.
A move to one of those last three clubs could make the most sense. Real Madrid president Florentino Perez really likes Endrick and doesn’t want to sell him so young.
Because of that, a loan deal seems the most likely outcome before the deadline. Madrid would prefer a loan without an option to buy.
That might work well for a club like Fulham, but it’s less likely to attract Manchester United, since they wouldn’t get a long-term benefit from developing a player they don’t own.
