An amazing NBA record that Michael Jordan held for 38 years has finally been broken, as the Chicago Bulls keep off to a great start this season.
The Bulls made an incredible comeback, turning around a 24-point gap to beat the Philadelphia 76ers 113-111, earning their sixth win in seven games.

This win has fans excited, thinking the Bulls could really be championship contenders for the first time since the 1990s.
Back when Jordan played for Chicago, he led the team to six titles in eight years, including two famous three-peats.
Even though the team has had tough times since then, nights like Tuesday’s give Bulls fans plenty to cheer about.
One of the stars in this success is young Aussie Josh Giddey, who earned his second triple-double in a row—a feat the Bulls hadn’t seen since Jordan almost 40 years ago.
Giddey played 37 minutes, scoring a team-high 29 points, with 12 assists and 15 rebounds.
He also shone in the Bulls’ only loss so far this season, against the New York Knicks, where he still led with 23 points, 12 assists, and 12 rebounds.
After Tuesday’s big win, Giddey was asked about being the first Bull since Jordan in 1988-89 to get back-to-back triple-doubles. He said,
“It’s cool. I’m not going to lie, it’s cool. But honestly, I think all the individual stuff comes from winning and playing with a fun team.
I’m grateful to have teammates and coaches who help me get chances to succeed.
It’s a really fun group to play with. I love going out and competing with these guys because they make my job easier.”
Giddey was picked sixth overall in the 2021 draft by the Oklahoma City Thunder and won Rookie of the Year in his first season.
He was traded to the Bulls in 2024 and made history last season by joining Jordan as the only Bulls players with five triple-doubles in one year.
At 23 years old, he signed a new four-year, $100 million deal in September and has shown why he’s worth it in the early games.
After the latest win, Giddey said,
“This is one of the best wins I’ve been part of, especially when we were so far behind in the third quarter.
We pulled ourselves out of a tough spot, and it felt amazing.
It was a great test for us after our first loss to New York.
Our group showed real strength to come back like we did in the second half.”
