NBA Star Josh Hart Seen Playfully Sticking Thumb in Teammate’s Behind on Camera

NBA star Josh Hart got caught playfully sticking his thumb in his teammate’s bum while the New York Knicks celebrated winning the NBA Cup. The Knicks ended a 52-year wait for a trophy on Tuesday night, beating the San Antonio Spurs 124-113 to take home the cup. OG Anunoby was a star, hitting five three-pointers on his way to 28 points, and NBA Cup MVP Jalen Brunson added 25.
There weren’t wild celebrations, but you could see the relief on the players’ faces after such a long wait for silverware. The funniest moment happened when Brunson reached out to grab the cup, and Hart sneaked his finger into Brunson’s bum. Brunson quickly turned around and gave Hart a surprised glare as the party went on.
Hart later joked about the moment on social media. His first post read, “Damn in 4k…” with four laughing emojis. About 40 minutes later, he posted again, saying, “It was AI,” as a joke.
That wasn’t the only funny moment for Hart during the final. Both teams earned a nice reward for reaching the final, but the winning Knicks players will each get $530,933 for lifting the trophy. Near the end of the game, with the win secured, Hart was seen making a money sign with his hands.
Now, the Knicks’ goal is to win their third NBA championship, their first since 1973. They’re currently second in the Eastern Conference behind the Detroit Pistons with an 18-7 record. The Knicks are already considered top contenders, and Tuesday’s comeback win—overcoming an 11-point deficit in the final quarter—only adds to their confidence.
After the game, MVP Brunson said why the win matters for the rest of the season: “We found a way to win, that’s it. That should be our motto moving forward. We’re going to find a way.” New York coach Mike Brown agreed, saying, “Whenever you’re the last team standing and get to hang a banner, you take it seriously. And our guys did just that.”
