Steph Curry amazed everyone with an incredible shot that was so unreal, WNBA star Caitlin Clark joked it must have been made by Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Curry has been one of basketball’s biggest names since he started with the Golden State Warriors in 2009. Now 37, he’s a four-time NBA Champion, winning titles in 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2022. He was also named NBA Finals MVP in 2022.
He’s been recognized twice as the NBA’s Most Valuable Player and has been an All-Star 11 times. Last year, Curry also won Olympic gold with Team USA at the 2024 Paris Games — a win the team hopes to repeat at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
Curry is often mentioned alongside basketball legends like Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal, and LeBron James when people talk about the NBA’s all-time greats.
Recently, Curry showed why once again with a crazy trick shot before a game. After missing five games due to a muscle sprain and quad injury, Curry returned healthy to face the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Before the match, he wowed the crowd by taking a shot in a corridor inside the Chase Center. Using one hand, he swung the ball down the hallway and let it fly toward the other side of the court. The ball bounced off the rim and swished through the net, and Curry ran back down the tunnel as fans cheered loudly.
The shot looked even more amazing when seen from different angles. Caitlin Clark, who plays for the Indiana Fever in the WNBA, shared her thoughts online, saying, “this has to be AI,” because it looked almost too perfect to be real.
