The secret Real Madrid Galactico signing has been unveiled, and it might affect a Premier League team.

Real Madrid’s exciting new Galactico signing has finally been revealed, and it could mean a big payday for a Premier League club.

Florentino Perez is facing a tough challenge from Enrique Riquelme in the Real Madrid presidential election. Both have been making big promises to win over fans. Riquelme wants to bring Manchester City stars Erling Haaland and Rodri to Real, while Perez has teased a record-breaking signing if he stays in charge.

On a Spanish TV show called Horizonte, Perez said he plans to make an offer to a major Champions League club for a top player. He described this as Real’s biggest transfer ever, with a fee of at least €150 million. Perez also said this new star is on the level of Cristiano Ronaldo or Kaka—a true “Galactico.”

While Perez ruled out Harry Kane, Haaland, and Michael Olise, it turns out the player he’s after is from Bayern Munich. According to The Telegraph, Real is pursuing the French star in a £130 million deal, which would break their transfer record.

Olise has been at Bayern for two seasons after moving from Crystal Palace, where he developed into one of the world’s best players, scoring 42 goals in 107 games.

Here’s the interesting part for Crystal Palace fans: when they sold Olise for £50 million, they included a 15% sell-on clause. That means if Real Madrid buys him for £130 million, Palace would get about £19.5 million, even though Olise hasn’t played for them since 2024!

Palace recently sold stars like Eberechi Eze and Marc Guehi, but Olise’s next move is definitely one they’re watching closely.

Olise had a great Champions League tie, scoring and assisting in both legs as Bayern beat Real 6-4 on aggregate in the quarter-finals. Across all competitions last season, he scored 22 goals and made 31 assists in 52 games, helping Bayern win the Bundesliga.

Olise is now focusing on his first World Cup with France. He’s under contract until 2029, and there’s no release clause in his deal.

Right now, Real Madrid’s biggest signing is Jude Bellingham, who joined from Borussia Dortmund for £88.5 million in 2023. This new transfer would definitely set a new record!
