Football Manager creator spots a ‘very strong’ wonderkid you’ve got to sign in FM27 — his stats are amazing!

The race to find Football Manager’s best young star is officially on, as developers Sports Interactive have just released the latest version of their popular game.
Before the official launch on November 10, Football Manager 27 will be free to play on PC and Mac from October 29 to November 3—no need to pre-order!
Fans have already jumped into the game, searching for the next big wonderkid. One player everyone’s talking about is Abdellah Ouazane, a 17-year-old attacking midfielder from Ajax. He’s considered one of the most promising young talents in football and has caught the attention of top clubs like Juventus and Real Madrid.
Last year, Ouazane nearly moved to Real Madrid, but the transfer didn’t go through. Still, he’s been doing great at Ajax, where he became the sixth-youngest player to debut for the club at just under 17 years old. The Football Manager team has noticed his talent too.
In an interview with FourFourTwo, Sports Interactive’s Antony Farley highlighted Ouazane as a player to watch. He said, “There’s a kid at Ajax, a 17-year-old left winger, Abdellah Ouazane, who looks like he’s going to be a very strong player this year.” He added that finding hidden gems like Ouazane is one of the fun parts of the game.
Looking at Ouazane’s stats in FM 27, you can see why he’s so special. He has top technical skills like 15 crossing, 15 dribbling, 17 first touch, and 17 technique. His mental attributes are just as impressive, with 15 flair and 16 determination, plus strong physical stats.
On the downside, Ouazane isn’t cheap. His market value in the game is between £34 million and £51 million. However, his Ajax contract runs until June 2028.
This season, the 17-year-old has scored two goals in 16 games for Ajax and mainly plays as a left winger under coach Michel Sanchez. His talent has impressed many, including Sofyan Amrabat, a former Manchester United player who now plays for Ajax.
“Appie is a great player with a really good mentality,” Amrabat said. “I think he can go very far. From what I’ve seen, he has everything it takes to play at the top level—good height, strength, speed, technique, and a smart head on his shoulders.”
Amrabat added, “If he stays grounded, which I expect because he’s a quiet guy, he can really achieve great things.”
